Inuit Walrus Ivory Carving of Mutt & Jeff

Who remembers this dynamic duo? Mutt and Jeff are characters out of a long running newspaper comic strip, which ran from 1907 to 1963. Tall skinny Mutt is pondering something with his right hand on his chin, while short portly Jeff stands with his hand in his pockets seeming to be a bit unsure. Mutt stands on small platform that declares his name "MUTT" on it.  What a fun pair to have around the house.
