Frank Patania Sr. Sterling Silver and Turquoise Belt Buckle

A great three piece turquoise and sterling silver buckle set by Frank Patania Sr. with beautiful tumbled blue turquoise nuggets with dark matrix on the buckle, the tip and the keep.  The set was made for a 1" wide belt which was fashionable in the 1950's.  It is signed with the thunderbird stamp, a joined FP with the P joined at the middle of the F and a sterling mark.  The belt is heavily tooled black dyed leather which is 1 1/2" wide, narrowed to 1" at each end to fit the set.
