Frank Patania Snr. Sterling Silver and Turquoise Paisley Clip Earrings

These beautiful, 1950's sterling silver and turquoise clip earrings are the handy work of  Frank Patania Sr. (1889-1964). The paisley design is an iconic design started by Patania. Each earring features three pieces of turquoise mounted in serrated bezel settings with sterling silver raindrop tucked in amongst the stones. The hallmarks on the earrings are under the clips. It appears that one clip back was modified to reveal Frank Patania Sr.'s conjoined "FP". The other earring is marked with "STERLING", and potentially with Thunderbird shop eagle.  The earrings have great presence and the bright blue of the turquoise truly pops.
