Northwest Coast Carved and Painted Totem Pole

This is an interesting and fun totem pole from Vancouver Island, possibly by a Kwakwaka'wakw (Kwakuitl) carver. It has a "Thunderbird" with open wings at the top looking very serious. He sits on a fierce bear with big teeth who is holding a small man who glares at you. The base color is yellow with red, green, turquoise, and black painted elements. This totem pole will stand out and  give you a lot of satisfaction.
