Well Woven Large Baleen Basket

This is a beautifully woven and attractive baleen basket with an ivory finial of two basking seals. The double seal finial is a trademark of the baskets woven by Carl and Eunice Hank. Because of the finial of two basking seals on this baleen basket and the quality of the weaving, it is likely that this basket was woven by Marilyn Hank, their daughter. The form of the basket with its low profile and slightly domed lid is very pleasing. The basket is in great condition. This is the kind of baleen basket you would enjoy owning.
