Turn of the Century Squash Blossom Necklace

This turn of the century silver naja, strung with handcrafted beads, is a strong example of the craftsmanship of Navajo silversmiths of the time. Each bead has been carefully smoothed where the two domes of silver have been joined and the naja shares many design elements of other najas that date from 1900-1910, like the central twisted wires, the round capped ends with a sunburst or star design and general overall structure of the pendant. The necklace has been restrung.
