Large Inuit Walrus Ivory Carving of a Resting Seal

This is a stretched out seal, lying on his stomach and basking in the warmth of the sun. He is signed on the bottom "Edwin Kininock". The seal is carved from an older piece of ivory with horizontal lines on the top of its body. This is a large piece with a relaxed feeling.
