Walrus Ivory Scrimshawed Cribbage Board

$ 0.00

This is a very sophisticated cribbage board. The designs are very tight. The scrimshaw work is very precise and the line work is exceptionally close. The tip end of the tusk have two stylized kayaks, each with a figure facing out with a harpoon to the right and a seal float on the left. There are two of these on the top and two on each side. The sides have blocks with two rows of "circle and dot" design and pairs of narrow triangles. The board has a single peg to keep it level which is wood rather than ivory. It is a very unusual cribbage board.
