Inuit Carved Walrus Ivory Rookery

This is a busy little rookery. The black and white birds are looking around and one is just landing with his wings still out. The rookery sits on an oval base with baleen and ivory bands circling the bottom of the rookery. This is an attractive piece made more dramatic because of the black and white bands at the bottom and the black and white birds at the top.
