Carved Walrus Ivory Gavel with Seal Heads

This is a most intereting piece. The gavel has a head which has three seal heads on one end and a handle which ends with a seal head. The eyes, noses, and ears of all four of the seal heads are inlaid. This is the kind of Eskimo carving I don't see very often. It will be a good addition to a collection of older Alaskan ivory pieces.
