Carved Ivory Portrayal of Inuit Drummer and Dancing Figure

This is an exceptional carving of one of the pleasures of Inuit life in the winter.  The carvings are not static.  You sense the movement and energy of the moment.  The two figures are on a fossilized walrus ivory base.  This carving is unusual and very well done.
