Large Klamath Gambling Tray with Quillwork

Take a good look at this great basket.  The weave is fine and even and the design is well thought out with added interspersed design elements in it in dyed quill.  It has a 1 1/2" vertical cut near the center which was closed with needle work.  It is there but does not interfere with the visuals of the basket.  It has two needle work loops on opposite side of the rim for hanging the basket.  These are the same color as the basket and are hardly noticeable.  I chose not to remove them but it would be easy to do so if you chose to do so. This will be a striking piece in a collection of western baskets.
