Plateau Beaded Triangular Panel with Roosters

Here we have two roosters under a strawberry in a triangle. Why? I don't know, but it was made for some purpose over a 100 years ago. The three edges are bound with cloth which is worn now. I find this piece to be delightfully humorous. It will be an interesting piece on a wall.
