Plateau Beaded Childs Dress
This is an early to mid 1920's Plateau child's beaded hide dress. The various beads used in it would indicate it is in that period when the carnival and cut clear beads were becoming the dominant bead but the women were still using the earlier solid color beads. The back of the dress is somewhat distressed with stains and a significant tear that was sewn up prior to the dress being beaded. It has a couple of triangles penciled in but never beaded on both sides.
