Partially Imbricated Puget Sound Berry Basket

This is a very old and well crafted partially imbricated Puget Sound huckleberry basket.  The design is composed of four large "V's", which have imbrication in black, dark brown, light gold, and natural materials. The cedar bark background material has aged into a rich dark brown. It has a band of twisted beargrass just under the braided rim. It is a pleasing hard basket and in excellent condition.
