Nuu-Chah-Nulth Whaler's Hat

This is a modern onion domed hat reminiscent of the whaler's hat Maquinna wears in the early drawings of this important Nuu-Chah-Nulth chief from the late 18th century. The design on the hat depicts two idealized whale hunts. The hat is in excellent condition and is visually appealing.
