Lower Klamath River Lidded Basket with Handle

This is a handsome Northern California basket with a lid and a handle. The design is composed of three stacked and offset parallelograms with a thick diagonal black band running through the middle of the three. This design is repeated three times. The red woodwardia fern used in this basket is very strong indication that this might be a Karuk basket. The basket is in excellent condition.
