Northern California Basketry Hat

This is a handsome Northern California hat with a bold design. The design is composed of  black two-stepped parallelograms stacked off center with a large "Z" like form in the center of the design elements. It is missing 5 stitches at one point along the rim. There are two stains on the bottom of the inside of the hat which do not show on the outside of the hat.
