Long Bone Harpoon Foreshaft

This is a nice example of a 19th century or older bone foreshaft for an Eskimo harpoon. It is uniformly dark. There is a whitened rectangular patch at the back that probably had information about where it was excavated but there is nothing visible on it now. A good artifact.
