Antique Eskimo Harpoon Shaft with Seal Head Finger Rest

The harpoon has a wooden shaft of about 1 1/2" diameter with a bone socket at one end and a bone scratcher at the other end.  These are secured by animal wrapping at each end.  The wrapping that secures the scratcher is intact but most of the wrapping securing the socket is missing.  A carved seal head amulet, missing one of its eyes is attached by hide wrapping about midway down the shaft.  It has a small decorative 1/2" wrapping around the shaft on the forward end.  This is an authentic Eskimo harpoon and a good piece for a collector.
