Eskimo Carved Bird Candle Holders

This is a whimsical pair of birds siting on a rectangular bases. They are carved, scrimshawed and painted and have a cavity in the top of their heads for a candle.  Just imagine how they would lighten up your next dinner party. Or they could make you smile just sitting on a shelf. One corner of each base has been attacked by a hungry insect.
