Eskimo Bird Carvings Mounted on Mastodon Base

This small Eskimo sculpture has artfully placed two carved and scrimshawed birds with orange bills and feet on the broken end of a quarter section of brown Mastodon tusk. The break happened a very long time ago so that the irregular surface of the break looks like a natural rocky landscape. This will be a very interesting and unique piece in someone's collection
