Mid-20th Century Navajo Sterling Silver Cigarette Case with Turquoise

This is a fantastic mid-century Navajo sterling silver cigarette case with turquoise and applied silver leaves. Almost every side of this case is decorated with a repeating sunburst border. The "front" of the case has two large applied silver leaves that are nestled in between and curve around one large drop-shaped turquoise cabochon and three small circular turquoise cabochons. The lid is engraved with the name "RICKI".  The back of the case features a single applied leaf that wraps around a small, irregularly shaped turquoise stone. The leaf shows signs of wear, being rubbed smooth from many years of use. The base of the case is stamped “AAG” “sterling”. This is a great collector’s piece.
