This is a small and rare wooden object that is simply but elegantly crafted. It is in two pieces, a flat top with rounded sides and a rounded bottom. The piece is wedge shaped and widens slightly from the mouth piece to the end. The wood is light and probably cedar. It has a red stain with some black horizontal lines across the top and a black crescent on the end . It may have had a design or attachment on the front half. It has fiber wrappings at the rear but is missing the wrappings in the middle and end. It has some insect damage to the wood.
