Unusual Chelalis Open Weave Basket

This is an unusual and interesting Chelalis basket.  It has three sets of  open weave. The upper and lower sets have two bands of open weave bordered by red dyed right triangles and have a narrow panel between them.  Between theses two sets is the third set of two bands of open weave with just a narrow panel between these bands.  The  base is all open weave with a "barber pole" band along the outside of the base.  The warps are cattail and the woven sections are all done with full twist overlay twining.  I have never had a Washington basket like this one and it took me sometime to feel comfortable with the identification of the basket as Chehalis.
