Small Richard Cultee Skokomish Basket

This is a small coiled Skokomish basket by the very accomplished basketmaker, Richard Cultee.  It has a diagonal "salmon gill" design going up and to the left around the body of the basket with a wide red band through the middle.  It has a band of black dogs below the braided rim. The basket leans forward somewhat but it still a very dramatic basket.
