Plateau Netted Beaded Bag
This attractive small bag was made by an Indian woman from one of the Eastern Washington tribal groups. It is beautifully made with a wide central panel of pink and cobalt blue seed beads netted together between two sections of native tanned leather with red and blue beaded loops along the bottom. A number of small bags, either with netted sections or completely formed in netted beadwork were made on the Plateau in the early 20th C.
