Plateau Corn Husk Bag

A finely woven early Plateau corn husk bag with two multi-colored eight point stars on one side and 6 rows of small crosses in various colors on the other side. The warp and weft are all native hemp and the designs are all in fine wool yarn. The bag has red trade cloth binding along the top of the bag.  Some of the colored wool has faded  but other yarns have held their colors. The corn husk has darkened over the years. This is a good piece for the collectors who like the earlier style of corn husk bags.
