Columbia River Powder Measure
This rare Columbia River powder measure is made from an animal's horn and has parallel diagonal grooves on each side from just behind the suspension hole to the large end. The powder measure has been exposed to the elements so that the large end has lost most of its color. There are four cracks running toward the small end. This is part of a large collection of Columbia River art and artifacts which was started in the late 19th C.
