Beaded Bag made From Muzzle Panel of a Gun Case
This is an unusual bag. The beaded front is from the muzzle end of a gun case which was later converted into a bag. It is probably Plateau although it may be Shoshone-Bannock work. It is thread sewn with good small seed beads in two shades of blue, pink, greasy yellow, white, turquoise and green. The beadwork is on native tanned hide which may be buffalo as it has the curly fibers and matted look of buffalo.
