Scrimshawed Caribou on Ivory Artifact Fragment

The scrimshawed image of a caribou is well executed on a fossilized ivory fragment.  There is another small scrimshaw depiction of what may be a walrus behind the larger figure.  I am not sure what the artifact fragment is but it is quite interesting. It is thin with a slit opening at the top to run a line through and has a sculpted end to the left of the caribou and a sloping long rounded end to the right of the figure.  All of the work on the scrimshaw and the artifact was done a long time ago judging from the coloration of the ivory surfaces and edges.
