Figural Papago Basketry Tray

This is not just your ordinary Papago basket. This is a real gem, not only is it well-woven, but it also reads well. It has six figures woven in red and black, alternating between male and female.  Sitting on a stand, it is the kind of artwork that catches people's eyes.
