Old Eskimo Carved Wood Dance Mask

The mask is probably King Island although it could be from the Yukon Delta as small wood face masks from both areas can be very similar. The mask was never painted. It has several small holes around the outside of the mask for attachment of feathers or possibly a hoop structure.  There is residue in some of the holes but it is unclear what it is.  From the uneven coloring of the wood surface I believe this mask was danced and was collected sometime after it was used.
