Plains Child's Quilled Vest

This is a vest that was worn. It has 12 rows of red quill work with two small purple blocks in a vertical line-up. It has short ⅝" fringe around the bottom which has been thread sewn to the vest. The quill work is folded between thread. It has a small single needle beaded band at the bottom of the back that is sinew sewn with blocks of white, black and red beads. An interesting detail is a very short fringe along the sides where the front and back panels were joined. It has a plain cotton lining on the inside, somewhat worn, which was sewn to the vest with a sewing machine. This is a good looking small vest.
