These beautiful child kamiks are constructed from alder dyed seal skin.  They have hard pleated soles, a "V" shaped vamp and the upper body has a single center seam in the front.  The pair have a separate folded seal skin band sewn along the top edge. These were made by Inuits living near or above the Arctic Circle in Northeasten Canada.  One boot has stains which are possibly ink, otherwise they are in excellent condition.
