Inuit Ulu

This is a classic Alaskan Inuit ulu. The handle is well worn bone with parallel lines cut across the top. The blade is iron that has been honed along the edge. At some point, a narrow white rectangle was painted near the handle with 3 sets of numbers, possibly for identification.
