Eskimo scrimshawed water fowl by Charles M. Kokuluk
We have another great carved walrus ivory water fowl by Alaskan Native Artist Charles M. Kokuluk. For this water fowl, Charles uses different style of line work, specifically a zig-zag pattern that is striking. It is excellent in creating directionality and depth for the bird's feathers.
Charles M. Kokuluk was a resident of King Island and Nome, and now resides in Anchorage, Alaska. He specializes in realistic carvings waterfowl and ducks, which he has taken great interest in.
