Seneca Mid 1800's Beaded Bag

A beautiful and striking double sided mid 19th Century Seneca bag which is beaded on fine black velvet on both sides with a rounded and puckered cotton body. It has a beaded flap on the front and an original blue cotton small handle. The colorful beads are tiny seed beads and the beading is in excellent condition. The inside of the flap shows more recent stitches indicating it may have partially separated from the body at some time.
