Cree Knife Sheath

This is a visually interesting old and used knife sheath. Most of the body of both sides of the knife sheath have designs of a long tendril with floral and abstract forms. At the top on one side is a band of single stitch beads with a "V" shaped center design. On the other side is a pink and blue checkered panel. All of the beadwork is sinew sewn and the sheath has a thick leather sleeve inside the sheath. This is a good piece for a collector of Northern Plains beadwork.
