Unusual Klamath Miniature Gambling Tray with Dyed Quill

This Klamath tray has a circular design pattern with triangles and small quill stitches in the outer triangles. The weaver added an inner raised band of false embroidery alternating with dyed green and natural-colored tule. The green is dusky in color so it has a subtle impact. It has an outer band with right triangles facing into the center. This band has two open areas opposite each other which does not have the triangles. This effectively makes the design more interesting. The quill stitches have had some insect damage.
