Plateau Womans Hat

This is the classic Plateau woman's hat woven with beargrass on native hemp warps. The dark designs are in another native fiber. The light orange rectangle inside the major design elements are dyed beargrass which have faded over time. The hat is large for an older hat and in excellent condition. It will be a good addition for a collector of old Plateau basketry or a classic hat to wear.
