Nez Perce Cornhusk Belt Pouch made by Hattie Hall

This is an absolutely beautiful piece of art. The front has an artful variation of an eight-pointed star as the dominant design. The cornhusk work is small, even, and flat. It is in the classic form of a belt pouch with a design on the front, a different design on the back, and a third design on the inside panel. But the artist has chosen to make it into a carried bag by adding a double handle of older small Indian made shell beads. It has two hide thongs hang down with an inch plus of similar shell beads.
