Three Rod Coiled Pomo Basket

This is a beautiful, very well woven three rod coiled Pomo basket with a classic Pomo elongated open diamond design. The background material has taken on a rich dark golden color as often seen on really old Pomo baskets. The coiling and the stitches are fine and even. It has a 3/16" area on the rim where the sewing stitches are missing and a second area on the rim where 2 stitches are missing and six places on the body where one to two stitches are missing. These missing stitches do not interfere with the beauty and appeal of this basket.
